GP Izola UCI

Le Slovaque Dusan Rajovic (Adria Mobil) a remporté au sprint ce dimanche le GP Izola, course internationale UCI 1.2. Il devance l'Autrichien Daniel Auer (WSA-Pushbikers) et le Britannique Matthew Gibson (JLT Condor).

Plusieurs romands de l'équipe valaisanne IAM Excelsior ont pris le départ de cette épreuve. Le meilleur d'entre eux est Martin Schäppi (VC Échallens) qui termine au 22e rang. Ce résultat lui permet de s'emparer du commandement du Swiss Bike Challenge.
